Data Deletion Instructions for prizeplay

Introduction

At Almedia GmbH, we understand the importance of your privacy and are committed to ensuring the security and protection of your personal data that we process. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws, we provide you with the ability to request the deletion of your personal data that is stored within our application, prizeplay.

How to Request Data Deletion

If you wish to have your personal data deleted from our systems, there are two methods for requesting Data Deletion. Please select your preferred method and follow the instructions below:


  • Preferred Method: you can directly ask for Data Deletion by using the prizeplay app:

    • please go to the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and click on the “Delete profile” button

    • we will send a confirmation email to the registered prizeplay email account and, if you do not interrupt the process, your account and all data will be deleted in 30 days after the request reaches our server


  • Email Request: Send an email to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@almedia.co with the subject line "prizeplay Data Deletion Request." Please provide the following information in your email to help us verify your identity and locate your data:
    - Profile name
    - Email address associated with your account

    After receiving your Data Deletion request, we will send a confirmation email to the registered prizeplay email account and, if you do not interrupt the process, your account and all data will be deleted in 30 days after the request reaches our servers.

Verification of Identity

Upon receiving your data deletion request, we may require additional information to verify your identity. This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not deleted improperly or without the consent of the rightful owner.

Processing Your Request

Upon verification of your identity, we will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receipt. If we are unable to delete some or all of your data due to legal or regulatory obligations, we will inform you of the reasons.

Consequences of Data Deletion

Please be aware that deleting your personal data may result in the following:


  • Loss of access to your prizeplay account and its features.

  • Inability to recover any data or content associated with your account once it has been deleted.

  • Loss of any Credits obtained in connection with your prizeplay account.
